i think that killing a dragon should have catastrophic nuclear-fallout level environmental consequences tbh. their blood should scorch and wither the earth with fire and poison, the toxic fumes released as they decay should choke the land and all nearby living creatures, and the entire landscape where they fell should be transformed into a blighted wasteland where bleached leviathan bones loom upwards out of the ground as a warning that can be seen from miles away, the boundary markers of an exclusion zone.
i also think that it would be wonderfully ironic if those who sought the fame and glory of the title of ‘dragonslayer’ only ended up with the bitter, enduring reminder of the devastation they’re responsible for. this is not a place of honor. no highly esteemed deed is commemorated here.
I will continue to call The Creature “Frankenstein” and no force in Heaven or Earth will impede that.
I also laughed at him totally deliberately calling attention to the fact Victor isn’t a real doctor because he dropped out of college and built a guy out of corpses
They didn’t just cut out the parts with the oat milk, they skillfully edited over all the god-damn branding and replaced the audio.
But what I still find most hilarious about this whole commercial is the fact that everything they show in this solar punk world seems to be made with sustainable, zero waste and reusable materials.
Everything EXCEPT THE FUCKING CHOBANI BRANDED STUFF! The only plastic you see in this whole commercial is all the straight to the landfill packaging made by the very corporation that tries to sell how sustainable and “green” they are. Unintentional self satire at its finest.
They couldn’t even show their yogurt and milk in (basically infinitely reusable) glass containers because they pretty much only sell their shit in plastic
It is such a perfect example of the true face of “green” capitalism, it’s hilarious.
The punk in this solarpunk comes from cutting the corporation out of the picture
i do this when im writing fiction. Each fic has a cut document full of discarded dialogue, scene settings, metaphors etc that dont quite fit yet I might want to use down the line or other fics.
